    Description:
We were able to configure our test instance so that we could access it with either port 80 or port 8993. If you did a search it would switch you to port 80. Now we are trying to configure the production instance to use port 80 and 8997. Do you have to modify anything other than the following three files?

    (1) /exlibris1/aleph/u17_2/alephe/apache/conf/httpd.conf
    (2) /exlibris1/aleph/u17_2/alephe/aleph_start
    (3) /exlibris1/aleph/u17_2/alephe/www_server.conf

    Resolution:
In apache to add an additional port, you should configure the VirtualHost as port 80 in httpd.conf.

You shouldn't need to do change aleph_start or any file other than httpd.conf.
