    Description

    Creating an empty field 590 in the son record when using "Derive new record" does not work. The setting in xxx01/tab/tab_fix_new is

    !1 2     3   4   5   6       7                             8
    !!-!!!-!!!!!-!-!!!!!-!-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!->

    08 son 590   a       a

    Resolution

    With the above setting field 590 and it's content is taken over from the father record if the field exists there. In order to always create an empty field 590 column 6 should be empty and should not contain a subfield character.
