    ACQ - currency ratio

    • Article Type: Q&A
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 21

    Question

In ACQ module, budget's tab, list of invoices the currency ratio is sometimes 00 although a currency ratio is assigned in the currency table. Moreover in some cases the currency ratio has a value which was never added to the currency table.

    Answer

A currency ratio of "00" is normal, please see description in document "Aleph oracle tables":

DESC: Currency ratio. This field can be used to define a particular currency ratio for the invoice. If the Z77-ICURRENCY-
RATIO is not zeroes, then the currency table (Z82) will not be consulted.

This means that a currency ratio other than "00" is only displayed when you add a ratio in the invoice to field "Explicit ratio". This also explains why ratios which never were assigned to a specific currency in the currency table might appear in the budget's invoice tab.
