    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 21

    Problem Symptoms:
    * Installing Aleph version 21 on Solaris. AIK step 3-3 runs, but does not set up the OPatch environment properly.

    * Examining the db_creation.sh script, cause of the issue is toward the end, where it tries to set up the inventory. The wrong location is used for the oraInst.loc file. (There is none for Solaris.)

    Cause:
    Error in the db_creation.sh script.

    Resolution:
This will be corrected in the next AIK re-packaging (in Dec 2012).
