AIK impdp: "job does not exist", "unable to create master table", "no privileges on tablespace 'SYSTEM'"

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 22

    Problem Symptoms:
In trying to do Aleph Installation Kit, Appendix A (manual database creation), and Appendix B (import the demo libs).

The 'impdp' in the Appendix B script is failing:

    Starting import

    Import: Release 11.2.0.4.0 - Production on Fri May 23 09:31:14 2014

Copyright (c) 1982, 2011, Oracle and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved.

Connected to: Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.4.0 - 64bit Production
With the Partitioning, OLAP, Data Mining and Real Application Testing options
    ORA-31626: job does not exist
ORA-31633: unable to create master table "ALEPH_ADMIN.SYS_IMPORT_FULL_05"
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_SYS_ERROR", line 95
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.KUPV$FT", line 1038
ORA-01950: no privileges on tablespace 'SYSTEM'

A query of dba_ts_quotas, shows that none of the ALEPH oracle users have any quotas set, only a few default oracle system accounts, with quotas in SYSAUX.

    Cause:
Uncertain. *** See Article 000041904 (link below) for a case which does *not* involve Appendix A/B and *does* have a clear Cause/Resolution.***

    Resolution:
*Go back to using the prebuilt database provided with the AIK.
    * Manually resize or move the datafiles to the desired locations.

AIK Appendix A and Appendix B are being used because some of the file layouts produced by the regular AIK are not optimal,
