    No headers

    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local, Total Care

    Description:
tab34 col.5 (call no) update through gui alephadm. When the pound sign / hash ("#") is placed in col.5, and then one goes to the next place to edit, multiple hashes are added across the width of the column.

    Resolution:
Please fill in one # and one space. Then only one hash will appear in the field when editing in ALEPHADM.
The addition of multiple # is a feature when it is necessary to fill the whole field with hashes.
The last sentence of the header for column 5 has been changed  [v21 rep_change #000186] to say:
"For all call numbers, use one # in the first position, followed by a space in the second position, that is: #<space> ."
