    ALEPHADM / Due date past midnight

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 18.01

    Description:
    Rep_change 1546 says:

    Change Number: 001546
    Description: A new column type, TIME_EXT, has been introduced in the Tables editor of the Alephadm. The new column type enables customers to define time cycles larger than a day (23:59). Now, the limit is two days (47:59). This development can be used in tab17, closing hour (col. 6).

    On our server, we have modified the tab17. However, when in a GUI client, we are not able to change the due date time beyond 23:59.

    What other changes must be done to enable this rep_change?

    Resolution:
    [From Jerry:] The updates made via alephadm result in changes to the table; in this case, tab17.

    Does tab17 have the update you made in alephadm? If so, then the problem is how the program is interpreting tab17, not alephadm.

    Looking at tab17 on the server, I don't see any 2600 in column 6 (-- no doubt because of summer....).

    Please do this:

    * remake the change from "2300" to "2600".
    * run p_cir_01 to recreate the z301
    * Check the z301, either in GUI Circ -- ALEPH (at top) -- Dates -- Change Due Dates of Current Loans OR looking at the z301 directly in util f/4.

    {From site:] We were able to make an item due at 2:00 AM. This can now be closed.
