ARC Bibliographic Statistics by Cataloger report is blank

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 16.02

One of the ARC reports, Bibliographic Data - Bibliographic Statistics by Cataloger, produces a blank report when it is run. It is supposed to contain two pie charts and a table with Cataloger, Number of Records and Percent of Total Number of Records. Only the column headings appear, all else is blank.

The Bibliographic Statistics by Cataloger report is based on a table in ARC that is built from the Z106 table in Aleph, in the XXX01 library. The creation of this table is based on a setting in tab100: CREATE-Z106. Your tab100 has this variable set to "N", so there is no Z106 table. Hence, there are no records in the STG_FACT_UNFIED_CATALOGING table in ARC, and thus no records were found for this report. You will want to consult locally about whether you wish to create this table so that there will be data for this report in ARC. Another possibility might be to create your own custom report for cataloger statistics, based on other tables/fields. We may be able to help you with this if you desire to do it, but it's not something I can help you with off the top of my head.
