    AVA field for item which bib record is not linked to

    Problem Symptoms:
    For record XXX01 88831, there's only one hol with one item.

    But util f/4, doc_expand, x-avail, shows two AVA fields:

    AVA L $$aYYY50$$bUYYY$$cGeneral Collection$$dRM736.7 D67$$eavailable ...
    AVA L $$aYYY50$$bUYYY$cLaviolette - Monographs$dRM736.7 D67 V12$$eavailable ...

    The first doesn't exist. Why is it there?

    Cause:
    ITM-type link to item.

    Resolution:
    util f/3/12 shows the following for bib 88831:

    ENTER HOME LIBRARY : xxx01
    ENTER DOC-NUMBER : 88831
    YYY50 000357610 ITM
    XXX60 000188164 HOL
    XXX01 000612686 UP
    YYY50 000083534 ADM

    Thus, in addition to the ADM link to the yyy50 000083534 item, there's an ITM link to yyy50 000357610. That is what is producing the "AVA L $$aYYY50$$bUYYY$$cGeneral Collection" field.

    Normally, there would be an ITM field in the bib record, but there is none in this case.

    It may be that this z103 (Links between records) ITM-type record should be deleted.
