    Description:
Many of the staff at our supported institutions have been asking if there is a method to add multiple items to a document when cataloging it from within the CRS node's "Catalog New" form. In the previous incarnation of CRS via the web interface, you went to the document, checked the radio button, clicked "Add Item" and were able to scan in multiple item barcodes and attach them to the document. It appears that this functionality has been replaced by the more robust features of the Cataloging module and Circ Items.

If I understand correctly, when cataloging a new document a single item can be added via the "Item barcode" field, under the "Item Information" tab of the "Catalog New" form. Then the document must be pushed to the Cataloging module Items tab and additional item barcodes added there.

    Resolution:
In the Circ client, when you are in the Course Doc List and you have the document you are working with highlighted in the top screen, then, on the bottom screen, you can click the "Items" tab and select "Cat Items". This takes you directly to the Items tab in Cataloging where you can add more items.

    See attached Word document.
