    Description

Is it possible to add any additional searches to the item bar search? For example, in the order and serial bar searches, any bib index can be added in the list. Can items be searched using the OCLC number?

    Resolution

The options for the Search Drop-Down Box Contents come from the ITEM-SEARCH lines in the pc_tab_exp_field.eng of the connected xxx50 library:

    ITEM-SEARCH L BIB Sys No. BIB-SYS
    ITEM-SEARCH L ADM Sys No. ADM-SYS
    ITEM-SEARCH L Barcode BARCODE
    ITEM-SEARCH L Call Number CALLNO

These search options are hard-coded and it is not possible to add to them, though the display text may be changed.
