    Description:
We need to display student's additional ID (20) on notices. The tags appear in the raw XML, but there is no data.

    Resolution:
TO-BLANK suppresses the field content in report forms. As long as TO-BLANK appears in global.trn (or the form-specific *.trn) next to field name z302-key-20, only the field name (z302-key-20) can appear in your output files (*.xmlxsl). The field contents will never appear.
Remove the following line from global.trn:
    z302-key-20 TO-BLANK S
You’ll need to run UTIL / I / 6 afterwards to update the forms on the PC.

    Notes:
    [1] z302 is a virtual table created from z303 and z304.
[2] If no ID field = 20 is entered in the patron record (say, a certain patron only has 00 and 01 ID fields), then the field name (z302-key-20) will not appear in the output file.
