Problem Symptoms:
Even after implementing v21 rep_change 2340 (June 2013 SP for Aleph 21), the "get_buf_z36_doc.gnt" error, described in KB 16384-59714 ("Communication error after barcode search"), still occurs.

Cause:
The field Z30-IP-LAST-RETURN-V6 was mistakenly filled with "*". In item history field Z30H-IP-LAST-RETURN-V6, it became a junk character, causing a GUI crash.

Resolution:
The (previously "damaged") data must be fixed with SQL commands in ADM libraries. Please contact Ex Libris Aleph Support.
