Aleph-Cluster: Deletion of holding records through replication mechanism (ue_11)

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 18.01

    Description:
We are a local system of hbz consortia and using Aleph-cluster-functionality to replicate local data to central catalog.
When we are deleting holding records in XXX60 these records are not properly deleted in the central catalog.
What is the cause of this?

    Resolution:
Please ensure that in ./xxx60/tab/tab100 you have:
    CREATE-Z00H=Y

Only if table Z00H in your XXX60-library exists, deletion of holding records are properly replicated.
This is relevant for all local system working in Aleph consortias (e.g. OBV.SG in Austria, hbz and BVB in Germany) with Aleph-cluster-functionality.

    Additional Information

    replication, consortia, holding data, deletions
