Base is not defined in tab_locate" selecting from Locate "Databases to search"

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 17.01

    Description:
I get the message "Base is not defined in tab_locate" when selecting a database from the "Databases to search" list in the GUI Cataloging "Locate Similar Record" function.

    Resolution:
This error (#0012 in ./error_eng/pc_sear_c1016) occurs when column 2 for the selected base in the pc's \ALEPHCOM\TAB\LOCATE.DAT table does not match any line in the ./xxx01/tab/tab_locate table.

Make sure that the base code begins in column 28, as shown in the LOCATE.DAT header.

    Additional Information
