Blocking the appearance of error code no. 1016 in Cataloging Module

Is it possible to block the appearance of error code no. 1016 "New Item information is Part of a Requested Group" in Cataloging Module?

Answer

Yes.

1. Copy file $aleph_root/error_lng/pc_messages to $u2x_n/alephe/error_lng/.

E.g. cp /aleph/error_eng/pc_messages /exlibris/alephe/error_eng/pc_messages

2. Adapt the Message 1016 in col. 4 from 'Y' to 'N'
from
1016 0000 L Y New Item information is Part of a Requested Group.

to
1016 0000 L N New Item information is Part of a Requested Group.
3. Restart the PC server.
