Booking is not deleted when loaned later than release period

Question    
When fulfilling a booking request later than booking start date, if this is done from the Loan tab, the booking is not removed from the patron’s list.
 

Answer    
When Loan is performed after booking start date+release period, the Booking is considered expired, and becomes irrelevant to the Loan.
