Budgets Do Not Update After Invoice Payment

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20

    Problem Symptoms:
?€¢ Budgets do not update after invoice payment
?€¢ Invoices display as unpaid after the z77 (Invoice Header - General Invoice) is updated to include a z77_p_status value of 'P', indicating payment has been made
?€¢ In the z601 (Budget Transactions), Z601_PAID values for invoice line items belonging to an order are only partially changed to a value of 'Y', indicating that invoice payment is not complete

    Cause:
Timeout of the PC Server prevents a portion of the line items on an invoice from being set to paid status, thereby also preventing update of the associated budget

    Resolution:
    1. Increase the value of the PC_SERVER_MAX_RESPONSE_TIME parameter in $alephe_root/pc_server_defaults
    2. Schedule the payment of large invoices for times when the server is not heavily used

    Additional Information

?€¢ Adjusting the PC_SERVER_MAX_RESPONSE_TIME in $alephe_root/pc_server_defaults increases the timeout value of the PC Server ?€¢ The PC_SERVER_MAX_RESPONSE_TIME parameter may be increased to a value of 1800, or one half hour
