    Question

Is there a way to perform a CCL search with the following parameter:
Title starts with letters from A-J?

    Answer

Yes, that's possible by searching e.g. "tit=a->j" when TIT is the index code of the headings index for titles.

    However please note the following:
    1) The search takes very long, in most cases it will run into timeout.
    2) The result is not very significant as typically not only field 245 is indexed in the TIT index but also other fields. So in the brief list you will not only see fields which start in 245 with a to j but also other titles (where e.g. 130 starts with A but 245 which is displayed in the brief list starts with x).
