    Can Oracle Standard Edition be used in an Aleph installation rather than the Enterprise Edition?

    Answer

    The Aleph installation comes with an Oracle Enterprise Edition and a change to Standard Edition is not possible.

    Additional Information

    Consult document "Database Installation Requirements", chapter "Database components" in the documentation center regarding this issue.
    It lists Oracle Enterprise Manager as one of the required components.
