    Description:
I've installed the Aleph 19 GUI client and edited tab and ini files changing USM to ABC.

I am unable to login to Aleph. (I get "Password not verified on connectable hosts".)

    Resolution:
Looking in the $pw_library z66 table with util f/4, I find that your ABC log-ins *are* present.... The $LOGDIR/pc_server log does not show any activity, so it is *not* rejecting your log-in; you are not connecting to the pc_server.

Do your .\ALEPHCOM\TAB\library.ini lines look like this:

    ABC01 bib ABC01 library.abc.edu:6992

    They should.

Does each .\xxxx\TAB\per_lib.ini have "ABCnn" entries? Is the ABCnn first in each per_lib.ini?

    [Later:]

The site had this in their library.ini:

    ABC01 bib ABC01 IP123.456.543.21:6992

when they should have had this:

    ABC01 bib ABC01 123.456.543.21:6992

that is, there should *not* be any "IP" preceding the IP address.
