Has something changed in v20 so that changing due dates in tab16 take effect immediately? Prior to this, whenever we made changes to due dates, we either waited for a system restart overnight so that z301 was re-created, or we immediately dropped z301 and recreated it if we wanted the new dates to take effect immediately.

Yesterday morning I made changes to some due dates, but did not drop and recreate the z301 table. However, a few hours later, the new due dates began to be applied. I've checked with our systems staff and no one dropped the table. No one even restarted the pc-server.

Resolution:
I'm pretty certain that there has been no change in v20. Could it be that your changes occurred before the first Circulation transaction of the morning?

As described in KB 150: "The first Circ transaction each day recreates the z301 with the correct values for that day."
