Changing fonts for field labels in Cataloging

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 16.02

In Cataloging, open a record or create a new one by template; note the field labels in the left-hand side, e.g. 'Main title'. These are in italics; we want to stop them being in italics. There does not seem to be any setting in catalog.ini controlling the 'italics' aspect.

This is controlled in the client files.
In Alephcom\Tab there is a file called font.ini.
The EditorDescription section covers the display of the name tags in the Cataloging module.
You will see that column 6 is for italics and for this section is currently set to Y. If you change this to N, close and reopen Cataloging, you will see that these are no longer italic.

    Additional Information

    italics, field label, font
