    Description:
When checking in loans to sublibraries that occur when an item is placed In Transit, it takes nearly one minute for the check-in transaction to be completed. Loans to non-sublibrary patrons check in quickly.

    Resolution:
Looking at the pc_server_6998.log.2104.0855 on Test, I find that the first transaction begins at 08:55:27 and the last completes at 08:55:52.

The return transaction itself takes only a couple seconds. It shows as an RET-ILL:

    DESCRIPTION: Return Item
    ACTION : RET-ILL
    PROGRAM : pc_cir_c0442

I didn't think you were using ILL. This could be like KB 8192-2215. If so, then please try changing the "ReturnILL" parameter in your GUI .\CIRC\TAB\circ.ini file.

[From site:] Changing this circ.ini parameter corrected the problem.
