    Description:
There is a conflict with Function Key definition in the V.19 Cataloging client.

In earlier versions of Cataloging, the <Alt> key and F10 function key could be used interchangeably to toggle the Menu bar. Starting with V.19, the F10 key has now been assigned to the new Admin tab in the left navigational pane. The <Alt> key can still be used to toggle the Menu bar. However, this definition of the F10 has not been eliminated. This conflict of function can cause use of the F10 key to invoke the Admin tab to be disabled.

    Resolution:
This will be remedied with the base distribution of ALEPH V.20. Specifically, the accerator key for switching to the Admin tab will be changed to <Ctrl>+[B]. Sites running V.19 can make this implement this locally by modifiying the accel.dat file on the users workstation. The file resides in the ./catalog/tab/eng/ directory. To implement the upcoming change, replace this line:

    SWITCH_ADMIN VK_F10

    with this:

    SWITCH_ADMIN Ctrl+[B]
