    Description:
The /var/adm/messages file shows that three core dumps are occurring every Sunday at 00:00:

    Feb 19 00:00:04 apps-l genunix: [ID 603404 kern.notice] NOTICE: core_log: jobd[1
    8803] core dumped: /var/core/core.jobd.18803
    Feb 19 00:00:04 apps-l genunix: [ID 603404 kern.notice] NOTICE: core_log: jobd[1
    8805] core dumped: /var/core/core.jobd.18805
    Feb 19 00:00:04 apps-l genunix: [ID 603404 kern.notice] NOTICE: core_log: jobd[1
    8804] core dumped: /var/core/core.jobd.18804

    Resolution:
Empty lines and lines starting with "!" in job_list are ignored.

If there are lines with characters at the beginning of the line, that line will be read and the program tries to convert the characters on the beginning of the line to numbers in the form of Day, Hour and Minutes, at which to run the program.

Lines 1, 48, and 218 (the last) in the $alephe_tab/job_list are illegal:

    1:
    _

    48:

    B

    218 (last):

    Interrupt

The program reads these lines and interprets them as Sun 00:00, and tries to run an undefined program which causes the system to create the core dump files.

You need to correct the job_list file and then do util e/15 to restart the job daemon.
