    • Article Type: Q&A
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 22

    Question

How can I set the highest number of records column after a browse search in GUI or WEB-OPAC?

    Answer

You can set the highest number of records in $data_tab/tab100 with parameter ACC-COUNT-LIMIT.

    Excerpt from tab100 header:

    !# ACC-COUNT-LIMIT
    !# Values: Default: 000000050
!# Type: Number; Max Length: 09
    !# tab100 of library: Yes; tab100_<server_type>: No.
    !
! This variable controls the highest number in
! "Number of records" column after a browse in
! a heading list in OPAC.

    Additional Information

Until Aleph Version 16 a counter was set in UTIL G/2 to control the highest number in "Number of records" column after a browse in a heading list in GUI or WEB-OPAC.

    Example:
    14. max-z02-count                99     y      S

With this counter maximal 99 index entries in a browse list are counted, for more than 99 entries the characters “++” are provided

Please take a note, that the counter max-z02-count will be used during the upgrade (Upgrade Express kit 16 - 17, step 116) to update your $data_tab/tab100 table. If the counter is not found, the upgrade will result in the following entry in the relevant $data_tab/tab100 table.
