E-mail messages from ALEPH into Outlook - Mail Attachment = E-mail Body Only

Description:
I would like to be able to understand how I can send e-mail messages from ALEPH to Outlook and make them readable if we use Mail Attachment = E-mail Body Only.

The attached HTML file (Attachment Only) works fine for us but we really want to spare the users from clicking the attached file to see the messages the library send them.

I wonder if there is a way to deliver the message in HTML format in the e-mail body. Plain text is good but it doesn't fit our new institution-wide design needs.

Resolution:
The bottom line is this: in Aleph versions 18-20, there are two choices:

1. Plain text in the body of the email, or

2. an HTML attachment.

"Advantages of HTML include the ability to include inline links and images, set apart previous messages in block quotes, wrap naturally on any display, use emphasis such as underlines and italics, and change font styles. Disadvantages include the increased size of the email, privacy concerns about web bugs, abuse of HTML email as a vector for phishing attacks and the spread of malicious software.

"Mailing lists commonly insist that all posts to be made in plain-text for all the above reasons, but also because they have a significant number of readers using text-based e-mail clients such as Mutt."

There is no provision for HTML in the body of the email in Aleph. That would be an enhancement request.

If you like, I could make this SI into an enhancement request (though a more certain route for assuring that it is attended to would be going through the ELUNA Circulation Special Interest Group enhancement process).
