    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20

    Problem Symptoms:
After upgrading to a new version, the message
Error: last-batch-job-no sequence is not found in USR00
occurs when running a batch job in the vir01 library -- even though "echo $usr_library" shows xxx50 as the usr_library.

    Cause:
The batch_que of the vir01 thinks that USR00 is the usr_library. This can happen when aleph_startup is not run after changes are made to the "usr_library" parameter in $alephe_root/aleph_start.private (or, if not there, in ./aleph_start).

    Resolution:
    1. cd $alephe_root
    2. run aleph_shutdown
    3. run aleph_startup

    Additional Information

If the "last-batch-job-no sequence is not found" message occurs for the correct, local usr_library, consult Article 000018226 ("Error: last-batch-job-no sequence is not found" for $usr_library")
