    Description:
We are an OSP customer and have these questions:

    - How many backup jobs are there?

    - What is getting backed up?

    - How do I determine the success or failure of a backup job?

    Resolution:
As an OSP customer, you are using the Ex Libris Backup Package. This is described in the Backup Package
Guide (in the Cross-Products/Backup directory on the Doc Portal).

You would do su - root and then "crontab -l" to see your backup jobs. The comments in the "crontab -l" describe what is getting backed up.

The /exlibris/backup/logs directory has a log for each backup job. The /exlibris/backup/logs/Summary.log file summarizes the success/failure of each backup job.

As an OSP customer, you should consult with Ex Libris staff before making any changes to the backup crontab.
