Expected arrival date filled in for non-subscription item -- as it is arrived

    Description:
When items are created for standing orders with a material type of serial, the issue date and expected arrival date are filled in with the date of the item creation. These titles do not have a subscription or order attached to them. The presence of the expected-arrival-date for these items confuses our staff and patrons, so we have to remove it -- but why should we have to do this? The system should not be doing this.

When creating an item rec for a standing order or irregular serial, one is creating it at the point of ARRIVAL and no expected date should be generated.

    Resolution:
Ex Libris' response: A change in the code is not possible. The documentation for this will be corrected.
