    Description:
We would like to display the OWN field from the BIB in the full + link display of the staff search. However, the system displays the OWN field from each of the linked holdings records also. So for example, if we have a BIB record with an own field of MAIN and we have three linked HOLdings records, each also with an OWN field of MAIN, then the full + link display for this field is:
    OWN MAIN
    OWN MAIN
    OWN MAIN
    OWN MAIN

Is there a way to suppress the OWN field from the HOLdings records?

    Resolution:
The fields from the HOL record are included in the FULL + Link via the expand_doc_bib_hol_usm. This expand does not have any provision for excluding fields: it includes all fields (except "CAT", "LKR", and "FMT").

    Additional Information

    HOL record
