    Question

    We have loaded authority updates. It is understood that they will be processed by the $z105_library ue_11 and then passed to the bib library ue_08. How can we tell when ue_08 is done?

    Answer

    As described in KB 8192-10359, ue_08 looks for z01 records with a z01_rec_key_4 value of "-NEW-". When there are none (or very few*), ue_08 is done. This SQL will show that:

    SQL> select count(*) from z01 where z01_rec_key_4 like '-NEW-%';

    (*Note: Subsequent bib and authority updates will create small numbers of z01 "-NEW-" records to be processed, so the count may not always be zero.)

    Additional Information

    Subsequent bib and authority updates will create small numbers of z01 "-NEW-" records to be processed, so the count may not always be zero
