    Question

How do you run an SQL procedure, such as cir_stat_bor_type.sql and the others included in the /user_scripts directory on ftp.exlibris-usa.com?

    Answer

Place the proc anywhere in your u-tree (so it won't get overwritten by updates). Anywhere is fine.
From the unix directory in which you have placed the proc, enter these commands:

    > s+ xxx50
    SQL-xxx50> @cir_stat_bor_type

<where "xxx50" is the library you are running it for; leave off the ".sql" suffix in entering the command>
