    Description:
When arriving serial issues the Serial Activity Log window displays advising success. Can this window be suppressed?

ALEPH 16.02 User Guide, under Serials, System Librarian, 12.10 Client Setup (acq.ini) refers to SerialActivityLogArrive. However adding this field to the General section of acq.ini with Y or N has no effect; the window always appears.

    Resolution:
In the Acquisitions/Serials module go to tab and change this line in GUISYS.ini from Y to N: SerialActivityLogArrive=

NOTE: When changing this line WHILE THE GUI IS OPEN, even if one saves the GUISYS file, the system won't save the change, and the line will still say Y despite the change to no. This is because the GUI affects the .ini files.

In order to save the change:

    1. Close the GUI
    2. Change that line
    3. Open the GUI again
    4. Before arriving the issues check if that line is set to N. It should then save the changes.
