Question

How is the renewal loan period determined?  tab16, col.22 (Maximum renewal period)?

Answer

The renewal period is *automatically* equal to the original loan period: there's no table value which specifies this.

tab16, col.22, determines the *total* number of days allowed for a loan, the original loan period + any renewals.

When you have "D030" as the col.22 value for a tab16 line which has col.6 (loan period) value of 00000030, the effect is that the system will never give you a renewal date > than the original due date.

If you want to allow a 30-day loan to be renewed two times, then you need to have a value of "D090" in col.22.

(Note that the pc_server needs to be restarted to make this change be in effect.)
