    Question

How many characters of the Aleph borrower verification (Z308-VERIFICATION) can be transferred via the SLNP server?

    Answer

While Aleph Z308-VERIFICATION field holds up to 40 characters, only 20 characters are being transferred via the SLNP server.

The SLNP Server is using the SLNPTM ("Simple Library Network Protocol") protocol which cannot be changed by Ex Libris.
