    Question

How do you get a new BIB library to display in the dropdown menus (the "Connect to" and the "Base" list for searching) in the GUI?

    Answer

    1. In order for a library to appear in the Cataloging module's GUI ALEPH -> Connect to list, it must be included in the \ALEPHCOM\TAB\library.ini and the library's \CATALOG\TAB\per_lib.ini files.

    2. In order for a library to be included in the Base list for searching, it must be included in the \ALEPHCOM\TAB\searbase.dat.
