Description:
How to estimate the size of data exported by Upgrade Express

 

Resolution:
In order to estimate the size of exported data - you can use the "expdp" utility - with the "ESTIMATE_ONLY=y" flag, as follows: 

expdp $ALEPH_ADMIN ESTIMATE_ONLY=y full=y

The result is in the following format: 

Total estimation using BLOCKS method: 4.403 GB
Job "ALEPH_ADMIN"."SYS_EXPORT_FULL_01" successfully completed at 16:50:41
