    Question

    How can we tell what version of Apache we have?

    Answer

    1. Type the following command on the server

    > httpd -v

    2. You will receive a response indicating the version, such as:

    user@server(a21_1):...apache/logs>httpd -v
    Server version: Apache/2.2.22 (Unix)
    Server built: Feb 26 2012 12:56:13
