    Description:
We need to re-index 850,000 records in XXX10. Instead of running p_manage_40 for these records it looks as though it will be quicker to run p_manage_02 and p_manage_01 as this will only take 21 hours (as we then wont have a backlog of z07s in XXX01)

However, what would be the impact on XXX01 if we do re-index XXX10 in this way - will all links remain intact?

    Resolution:
The links would definitely be maintained as these are in the z01 of the bib records. However, how much do you expect the headings in the authority library change after the reindexing? If you expect them to change, there is a risk that you'll have to run manage_102 in the BIB library or restart ue_08 to check all headings as they were new. I think the safest option in your case is to run p_manage_40. Ue_08 will get through 850 records in a couple of days on your server. Otherwise you are facing the risk of rechecking all headings.
