    Question

Why can a record be found using an old, meanwhile deleted index entry for Word search?

    Answer

This is a problem related to large records.
In rare cases it appears that index entries can not be deleted when a record has more Word entries in table z95 than Aleph enables. The affected record in xxx01 has 4954 Word entries but the maximum is 4950 Word entries.

The problem will be solved within a complete re-indexing using “Rebuild Word Index (manage-01)”

    Additional Information

In Aleph 22 the limit will be enlarged to 20.000 Word entries.
