    Description:
We want to create a new index based on data in the Z30 OPAC note field.
    How would we do this?

    Resolution:
The field which displays in the OPAC Holdings Item List as OPAC Note is the z30_note_opac.

You can create a BIB index on the z30_note_opac using expand_doc_bib_z30.

You would have this in the xxx01/tab/tab_expand:
    WORD expand_doc_bib_z30

    And then in the xxx01/tab/expand_doc_bib_z30:
    ! 2 3 4 5
    !-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-!-!!!!!!!!!!-!
    # z30-note-opac 7 space X

(For performance reasons, you may want to delete or comment out the fields in the expand_doc_bib_z30 which you are not indexing.)

And then you could add an index (say "WZN") to tab00.eng and then have this line in tab11_word:
    Z30## 7 03 WZN

    Additional Information

    z30 OPAC note field, expand_doc_bib_z30
