    Question

Service "Inventory Marking (item-08)": what does the error "Item does NOT belong to Shelf Report No. xx, but to No. yy" mean?

    Example
    Item details:
    Item Barcode: 31588004825623 Call Number: $$hPR6039.O32$$iL6 1993

Item does NOT belong to Shelf Report No. 12, but to No. --. Previously found item: (Barcode: 31588004842453 Call Number: $$hPR6039.O32$$iH6 1997).

    Answer

    This message means that

    1) the item found in the list does not belong to the shelf report number you specified in the parameters. The shelf report number should be displayed.

    2) the "Previously found item" is the item in list that immediately precedes the item-in-question or that was found instead of it in the inventory list.
