    Description:
    All Item status 16, patron status 18, items are being loaned for only 2 weeks when, per tab16, they should be loaned for 2 months.

    Resolution:
    The problem is that col. 28 (TAB16-MIN-NO-REQ-LIMIT) (the last column) of the tab16 line is set to "00". From the tab16 header:

    ! COL 28. 2; NUM; ;
    ! Item requested threshold;
    ! If an item has this number of active hold requests
    ! it will be considered requested for the purpose of using
    ! columns 15-18 for setting its due date.;

    In setting col. 28 to "00" you are saying "if the item has zero requests it should be considered requested". You need to set this to "01" (then, restart the pc_server to make it take effect).

    I am requesting that the program be changed to not allow a value of "00".

    This issue is still open and was escalated to Development for further investigation <2012-02-12 01:00:05>.
