    Description:
Apparently LC call numbers that have the subfield $$k x (which is what we use to designate oversize books) are not showing up in browse lists.

I cannot search these call numbers either in the GUI dropdown that searches ABC50, or in the opac/GUI call number browse search.

Our call number searches are based on the LOC field that is in tab11_ind. I checked tab00 and we are using 22 in tab_filing for the LC call number routine. 22 has the lines del_subfield followed by lc_call_no.

Do we need to adjust tab_filing in some way?

    Resolution:
Is the index you are searching the LCI2 "All Call Numbers"?

If so, the tab11_ind has this line:

    LOC## LCI2 hi

which means that subfield k is not included in the LCI2 z11 which is created.

There *is* a z11 entry for the call # you mention. (See below.) It's just that this entry lacks the $$k.

    02 z11_rec_key \
    03 ind_code .......LCI2
    03 filing_text ....m"312 m9 p6 2004
    03 sequence_1 .....004631352
    02 z11_doc_number ...004631352
    02 z11_alpha ........L
    02 z11_text .........$$hM312.M9$$iP6 2004

You *should* be able to search for this call#with the $$k omitted.

If you want to be able to search with the $$k included in the search, then you need to change tab11_ind.
