    Description:
The Catalog New button in Course Reserves uses the xxx50/tab/pc_tab_crs_fast_cat.eng table to define some of the fields. But we've noticed that it also inserts other bib fields with default values such as the LDR and 008. Where is it getting that template from? We'd like to change some of those values.

    Resolution:
The LDR and 008 fields come from the xxx30 tab_tag_text table. Since your abc30 tab_tag_text is empty, it is apparently using a hard-coded default.

Populate the abc30 tab_tag_text with the values you would like to have and then restart the pc_server.

See KB 20067 in regard to the year which appears in the xxx30 008 field.
