    Description:
After doing 17-20 Upgrade Express, we get the message "Library ABC50 is not defined on server" trying to access our ADM library on our v20 instance (with the Circ client).

We *are* able to connect to the USMxx llibraries.

    Resolution:
    Even though

    ps -ef |grep a20_2 |grep server

showed processes for many servers and the server logs showed activity, util w/1/1 (monitor servers) was empty. This problem is described in KB 4549. "server_monitor -ks" didn't work (didn't do anything), so I had to kill the processes individually, and then I reinitialized server_info and server_info_childs , and restarted the servers, as described in the KB. That worked. Now the util w/1/1 now displays the running servers and "server_monitor -ks" successfully kills them.

The site reported that, after this, the "Library ABC50 is not defined on server" no longer displayed and they were able to connect.

    See also KB 16384-29073.
