Can order numbers be "locked" so that changes cannot be made to the order number on the order form before the form is saved? (It is understood that the order number can not be changed after the order is created.)

Answer

There is no possibility to lock the order number before the order is saved to the server.

Additional Information

This would need to be an enhancement request. Going through the Acquisitions SIG would be the surest route.

This question was raised by an outside audit of the system.
