    Description:
Cannot connect to ALEPH via PDS, what should I check?

    Resolution:
    You can check the following:

    1. In ALEPH, the USER-SHARING in tab100 must be set to Y.
This is mandatory for PDS to work before v18.
Please use USER-SHARING=Y in tab100 of the ADM library.

    2. In v17, the XXX50/tab/tab100 : PDS-KEY-TYPE can handle only one type at a time.
To login to ALEPH, type "00" should be used.

    3. In alephe/tab/tab100, PDS-AWARE must be set to Y.
